Uzbekistan eVisa – General information

The Republic of Uzbekistan introduced the electronic visa in 2018. Since that time, travelers from a number of eligible countries can obtain a tourist visa for Uzbekistan online.

Uzbekistan eVisa is issued for purposes related to leisure and business. Travelers have the option of obtaining either a one-entry or multiple-entry visa.

An eVisa holder may enter Uzbekistan and stay up to 30 days in the country within the 90-day validity period. Entry to the country can take place at any time as long as a visa remains valid.

To obtain an Uzbekistan visa online, one needs to fill out the online form with the required details, cover the processing fee and receive the approved eVisa via email.

Please remember to apply for the Uzeksitan visa at least a few business days before your planned trip to receive the visa delivered on time.

Who needs an eVisa to Uzbekistan

Should you cannot find your nationality on the list above, it means that you need to obtain a regular visa at the nearest Uzbekistan diplomatic mission in your neighborhood.

Uzbekistan eVisa types

Uzbekistan offers three options for an electronic visa. Choose the most suitable for you from the following ones:

• a one-entry eVisa: a visa enabling a 30-day stay in Uzbekistan;a double-entry eVisa: a visa enabling two entries to Uzbekistan and spending there up to 30 days in total;

  a multiple-entry eVisa: a visa dedicated to those who wish to visit Uzbekistan numerous times and spend there up to 30 days in total.

Important: Regardless of the selected visa type, its validity is always 90 days from the date of issue. Make sure to enter Uzbeksiytan within this 3-month period and exit the country before your visa expires.

eVisa Uzbekistan application form

First of all, select one eVisa type that best matches your traveling needs and then gather all necessary documents. Next, there are only three steps left that you should follow to complete your eVisa application, including:

1. Fill out the online form: Enter all the required details in the online visa application form, including your name, surname, passport details, contact information, etc. Double-check all the entered details and move on to the second step.
2. Cover the processing fee: Use the preferred method of online payment and cover the service fee.
3. Check your email address: After covering the fee, make sure to check your inbox for the confirmation email.

Please note! Your approved eVisa will also be delivered to your email address within a few business days. The real waiting time may be extended as it is at the total discretion of the Uzbekistan government.

eVisa Uzbekistan validity

All three types of online visas available for Uzbekistan are issued for 3 months (90 days), and the validity starts on the date of issue. You should use your approved eVisa to enter Uzbekistan within the visa’s validity and exit the country before your visa expires.

If you plan to stay in Uzbekistan for 30 days, remember to enter the country around the 60th day of your visa’s validity to be allowed to stay there for an entire month before your eVisa becomes invalid.

Also, make sure your passport will remain valid for the min. period of 6 months from the date you plan to enter Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan eVisa requirements

Uzbekistan eVisa requirements are standard ones and can be easily met by every applicant who simply needs to prepare the following documents:

• a bio-data passport page digital copy
• a face photo
• a return ticket copy

Tip: You can take your face photograph using your PC camera or phone.

Transit information

Even though you only plan to transit through Uzbekistan before arriving at your final destination, you still need to obtain a visa first.

Consider applying for a double-entry permit issued for 90 days so that you can use it first to reach your destination and next when coming back home through Uzbekistan.
