What is the validity period of an ESTA to the USA?

The ESTA is valid for 2 years. With it, travelers can visit the USA numerous times as it is a multiple-entry permit. During that time, your passport must be valid; otherwise, ESTA will be expired as well.

Types of USA electronic visas

There is only one type of electronic visa to the USA. You can use it for tourism, business, and transit purposes when traveling through the country is necessary to reach another final destination.

The electronic visa lets travelers enter the USA many times and stay for a maximum of 90 days at a time. The permit is issued for 2 years, and you may use it as long as your passport remains valid.

As for transit reasons, even if you do not leave the airport before boarding another flight, you must apply for an online US visa.

If your country participates in the Visa Waiver Program, you must apply for an ESTA before traveling to the USA. This visa can be used for tourism, business, or transit-related travel.

The application process is very fast, but it is necessary to apply for a visa in advance. The procedure consists of 3 steps:

• Fill in a form by providing personal and travel information like name, citizenship, date of birth, passport number, etc.
• Pay the electronic USA visa fee of 79 Euro. Different online payment methods are available. Choose the best one for you and check for the payment confirmation in your email.
• Wait for the approved travel authorization to be approved and delivered to your email. Print it and keep it for travel.

Please note you may apply for an eVisa only with a valid passport. It cannot expire within 6 months from the intended arrival date.

Requirements for USA online visa application
